Description

  • Analyse sales data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Plan and place supplier orders according to business requirements.
  • Communicate with approximately 10–20 vendors each month.
  • Track order progress, supplier commitments, and delivery deadlines.
  • Coordinate warehouse preparation and readiness for fulfilment.
  • Liaise with Amazon regarding order and fulfilment matters.
  • Identify delays and discrepancies and coordinate their resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records and update colleagues on progress, risks, and next steps.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, order management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret sales data.
  • Structured and consistent approach to managing multiple suppliers and deadlines.
  • Excellent follow-through and proactive communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a distributed team.
  • Professional manner with strong accountability standards.
  • Availability during South African daytime hours, including some evening availability.
  • Reliable computer, internet connection, and suitable remote-work setup.
  • Comfort working with Google Workspace.
  • E-commerce or Amazon experience is preferred but not required.
