Description

  • Serve as a hands-on technical leader contributing to architecture, code reviews, complex problem-solving, and reference implementations.
  • Establish, document, and enforce coding, architecture, CI/CD, testing, observability, security, performance, and scalability standards.
  • Operate as a Center of Excellence for cloud-native product development and complex engineering challenges.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Team Leads to validate feasibility, scalability, and maintainability of solutions.
  • Lead standards committees, internal training, leadership labs, and technical reviews.
  • Build reusable accelerators, boilerplate repositories, reference architectures, common service patterns, and shared components.
  • Oversee the adoption of AI to improve product development efficiency, profitability, estimation quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Audit projects for standards compliance and coach teams on remediation.
  • Mentor senior engineers and team leads and support onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers.
  • Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Design, and QA leadership to align product intent, implementation, and delivery execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in ReactJS, including modern patterns, state management, and performance.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in NodeJS, including APIs, services, and async systems.
  • Deep experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Strong understanding of REST and event-driven architectures, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and observability.
  • Proven experience leading technical standards or architecture across multiple teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority and lead through expertise.
  • AWS certification such as Developer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
  • Experience in consulting or agency environments.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures, Infrastructure as Code tools such as CDK or Terraform, and distributed systems/scalability patterns.
  • Experience creating internal frameworks, accelerators, or engineering playbooks.
