Description

  • Lead a squad as a player-coach, writing and reviewing the hardest code while guiding delivery.
  • Build and own Go services on the event bus, AI/ML services and pipelines, or connector frameworks across multiple tracks.
  • Develop services for high-throughput transactional data models and WebSocket backends.
  • Own your track’s slice of the platform, including AI/ML pipelines, connectors, or core platform services.
  • Drive delivery on 1-week sprints and present working software in Friday demos.
  • Maintain committed timelines and help unblock work to keep execution moving.
  • Set engineering patterns through shipping, code review, and technical leadership.
  • Collaborate across voice, desktop, intelligence, and AI components in a single real-time platform.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
  • Strong Go experience at a senior level, with 3+ programming languages overall.
  • Proven experience leading a squad and shipping a real-time or platform product end-to-end on committed timelines.
  • Ability to out-code the team you lead and maintain technical credibility with senior engineers.
  • Experience with event-driven production systems such as NATS, Kafka, or Redpanda.
  • Hands-on experience with low-latency, real-time, high-throughput systems and WebSockets.
  • Mid-tier or better hands-on AI experience, including LLM APIs, embeddings, RAG, or model serving.
  • Daily use of AI-assisted development tools to increase velocity.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving ability across unfamiliar code, stack traces, and partner APIs.
  • Nice to have: data graph or knowledge graph background, AI/ML model training/serving/evaluation experience, and GCP familiarity.
  • Nice to have: voice, SIP/RTP/SIPREC, CCaaS/CTI, desktop-adjacent, or CRM integration experience.
  • Track-specific experience preferred in backend/platform data models and plugin runtimes, deeper Python and production GenAI/NLU, or integrations with Genesys, Amazon Connect, NICE, or Five9.
