Description

  • Strategically plan to meet or exceed sales quota.
  • Proactively prospect and hunt for new logo business.
  • Manage and build relationships with key decision-makers in information security and technology departments within Fortune 500 organizations.
  • Develop and grow a healthy opportunity pipeline within the assigned territory.
  • Upsell existing install base clients.
  • Build the territory through direct and indirect sales with partner organizations.
  • Develop relationships with channel reps to improve deal flow.
  • Work with partner teams to manage indirect deals.
  • Maintain sustained prospecting activity and organize time efficiently across days and weeks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales operations, sales enablement, marketing, legal, product, and sales engineering to advance opportunities.
  • Manage sales opportunities from prospect through closure and forecast close dates accurately.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of overall experience.
  • Prior experience selling Security Orchestration Platform and SIEM solutions into the SOC.
  • SOAR and SIEM background required.
  • Prior startup experience required.
  • Enterprise selling experience, specifically with enterprise-level logos in the specified territory.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales opportunities from prospect to closure.
  • Experience forecasting and managing information in Salesforce.com.
  • Extensive contacts in the information security field.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed organization.
  • 5+ years of successful experience selling in the security software industry.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 30%.
