Description

  • Lead end-to-end UX and UI design for desktop and mobile products, from problem framing through build-ready designs.
  • Partner daily with product managers and engineers to co-own product experiences.
  • Present design rationale, tradeoffs, and decisions to product, engineering, and leadership.
  • Balance long-term product direction with rapid execution and meaningful incremental outcomes.
  • Develop domain expertise through independent research, questioning, and direct user exposure, including occasional travel.
  • Use Reveal’s shared design system and contribute new components and tokens.
  • Work autonomously as the primary designer within an embedded product unit.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product design experience.
  • 5+ years of experience using Figma.
  • Expert-level Figma proficiency, including Auto Layout, components, variants, styles, reusable components, and design tokens.
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped product work.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and comfortably as the only designer on a team.
  • Bias toward speed and fail-fast iteration, with sound judgment about when deeper rigor is needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote, asynchronous collaboration.
  • Comfort using AI tools in daily design workflows.
  • Startup experience and experience establishing or contributing to a shared design system (preferred).
  • Experience with complex B2B, enterprise, operational, data-dense, mapping/GIS, command-and-control, or native mobile products; front-end knowledge such as HTML, CSS, or Tailwind is preferred.
