Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders and the Contracting Officer’s Representative.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and reporting.
  • Lead transition activities, weekly status meetings, monthly progress reports, and contract performance documentation.
  • Plan and coordinate health observances, awareness campaigns, and time-sensitive digital initiatives from intake through post-launch reporting.
  • Coordinate releases, configuration management, testing, and incident resolution with government hosting and application teams.
  • Manage staffing, workloads, and subject matter consultants to meet fixed-price performance outcomes.
  • Design Drupal webpages, landing pages, templates, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive UI components.
  • Conduct user research and translate usability findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Apply Section 508 and WCAG requirements and support accessibility testing and remediation.
  • Publish and maintain website content, including metadata, taxonomy, version control, quality assurance, backups, and compliance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, design, information science, communications, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 5 years managing federal IT or digital services projects and 3 years of hands-on UX/UI design.
  • Experience managing website operations, content management, or digital product delivery under a federal contract.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools.
  • Working knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.x accessibility standards.
  • Portfolio of UI/UX work samples available upon request.
  • Strong leadership, written communication, and client relationship skills.
  • Experience with Drupal or another enterprise content management system preferred.
  • Familiarity with USWDS, the 21st Century IDEA Act, web analytics platforms, or federal DAP preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum, DHS Trusted Tester, or IAAP certification and experience with public health programs or AI chatbot design preferred.
