Description

  • Lead and participate in the full life-cycle development of Salesforce cloud-based enterprise systems.
  • Design, implement, test, and support Salesforce software solutions in a fast-paced distributed team environment.
  • Own UI design, client-side programming, and building and release infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand business requirements and objectives.
  • Configure and customize software solutions to match client specifications and goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client teams during the configuration process.
  • Lead demonstrations and training sessions on software functionality and best practices.
  • Ensure timely delivery of software solutions that meet client needs and objectives.
  • Monitor client accounts to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to provide strategic guidance to clients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development and configuration experience building high-performance, reliable, scalable production systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce engineer and administrator.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and implementation processes.
  • Experience writing client-side and server-side code for web-based applications.
  • Strong Apex or Java expertise preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Practical knowledge of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in the software industry, particularly with Salesforce products.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and presentations.
  • Knowledge of project management tools is a plus.
  • Experience in the utility and climate industry is preferred, including integration of software products.
