Description

  • Lead field outreach to Commercial and Industrial demand response aggregators and customers in the Los Angeles area.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with aggregators, customers, utility clients, and other program partners.
  • Recruit, support, and train aggregators to build capacity and improve demand response program performance.
  • Support demand response program operations, reporting, and administrative tasks with the broader team.
  • Collect, analyze, and share feedback and data from aggregators to inform program improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Monitor program progress against goals and recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Coordinate across teams on client deliverables, communications, presentations, and issue escalation when needed.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while keeping the program manager informed of potential conflicts.
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategy and continuous improvement efforts for program delivery.

Requirements

  • Must be located in California.
  • 3+ years of experience in the energy sector, energy management, sustainability, or a related field, ideally with outreach experience for demand response programs and aggregators.
  • Ability to travel at least 25-50% in the Los Angeles, CA area; the role expects more than 50% field travel.
  • Understanding of utility demand response programs, with experience working with C&I demand response aggregators and customers preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint, plus familiarity with SharePoint, Asana, and Monday.com.
  • Valid US driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel; mileage reimbursement is provided.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) preferred, ideally in energy, environment, public policy, or a technical field.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to address customer issues and concerns.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while balancing schedules, budgets, and dynamic demands.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, verbal, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, solution-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with individuals and businesses from diverse backgrounds.

  • Base salary range of $74,448 to $118,000.
