Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment.
  • Prioritize DevOps workloads with a focus on improving developer efficiency.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems with SRE partners.
  • Implement and enforce infrastructure and application security best practices.
  • Collaborate with software developers to improve application performance and reliability.
  • Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and provide system support.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of DevOps experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Expert knowledge of cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, EBS, VPC, and Route 53, or equivalent services.
  • Expert Linux knowledge and strong scripting skills for automation and tooling.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and document root-cause analyses for incidents.
  • Knowledge of database configuration, maintenance, concepts, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and experience designing, implementing, and monitoring security controls.
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and SaltStack.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and microservices architectures.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and CloudWatch.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
