Description

  • Own multi-channel lifecycle programs across email, push, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app messaging from onboarding through win-back.
  • Develop segmentation frameworks and trigger-based journeys that personalize communication at scale.
  • Build and manage lifecycle campaigns in Customer.io or a similar platform, including journeys, data requirements, QA, frequency caps, and governance.
  • Run experimentation programs such as A/B tests, multivariate tests, and holdouts to improve conversion, retention, LTV, and campaign ROI.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on performance metrics including cohort retention, funnel conversion, attribution, and dashboard insights.
  • Collaborate with Product, Data, and Growth teams to align messaging, data quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Write and edit channel-ready copy and provide briefs to content and design while maintaining brand tone and standards.
  • Maintain operational excellence through naming conventions, event and attribute hygiene, deliverability, and preference management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Lifecycle, CRM, Retention, or Growth Marketing; fintech or financial services experience is a plus.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Customer.io or comparable platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or Klaviyo.
  • Strong analytical ability to segment data, conduct basic analysis, and understand attribution.
  • Familiarity with analytics and BI tools such as Mixpanel and Power BI, as well as spreadsheets.
  • Excellent written English with copywriting and editorial ability for short- and long-form communications.
  • Solid project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with mobile engagement, WhatsApp Business, and deliverability best practices is preferred.
  • Knowledge of experiment design and statistical interpretation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with attribution tools such as AppsFlyer is a plus.
  • Understanding of the Nigerian consumer landscape is preferred.
