Description

  • Partner with design, engineering, and product management teams to deliver successful products and services using an iterative design process.
  • Contribute to planning, estimating, and broader workstream coordination.
  • Create high-quality UX deliverables and manage work independently against larger schedules and priorities.
  • Apply established UX techniques, templates, presentations, and assets to produce analysis, solutions, and supporting materials.
  • Adapt and improve UX tools, methodology, and software, and propose new or optimized solutions.
  • Foster collaborative cross-discipline dynamics and help drive UX team delivery excellence.
  • Support design work across discovery through execution for web-based software experiences.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Information Architecture, Human Factors, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field, or equivalent portfolio/project experience.
  • 4+ years of experience designing interactive experiences from discovery to execution in a web-based software environment.
  • Ability to share prior design work examples.
  • Thorough understanding of UX methodology and lifecycle across key channels and platforms.
  • Strong expertise in design software tools such as Figma (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of design research methods to uncover customer insights.
  • Demonstrable data visualization skills for translating large, complex data into intuitive workflows.
  • Experience with component libraries, repositories, and internal communication tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and managing multiple projects, deadlines, teams, and/or products.
  • Experience in EdTech or K-12 education (bonus point).
  • General awareness of technologies such as JavaScript and HTML/CSS to collaborate with front-end engineers (bonus point).
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue or React (bonus point).
  • Fluency in other languages, especially Spanish (bonus point).
  • Passion for solving problems for educators and students.
