Description

  • Contribute to product strategy and decisions about product direction.
  • Help define and communicate product needs and opportunities through clear storytelling.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, design, and research partners.
  • Create and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals, and provide feedback on others’ work.
  • Design and ship high-quality features and product improvements in Figma’s core product surfaces.
  • Participate in design critiques, mentor peers, and share best practices across teams.
  • Turn ambiguous problems in complex systems into simple solutions with clear goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience designing UX and UI for a software product of similar scale and complexity.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual craft, including composition, typography, and layout.
  • Fluency in interaction design and prototyping.
  • Experience independently driving design from discovery through launch while balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
  • Ability to support decisions with structured thinking, clear rationale, and user-centered research.
  • Experience solving ambiguous problems in complex systems.
  • Experience researching, prototyping, or building products with AI and other emerging tools.
  • Familiarity with web technologies like HTML/CSS, prototyping tools such as Origami, or advanced Figma features like Auto Layout, Variables, and Components (preferred).
  • Design/development hybrid background or experience building websites or apps (preferred).
  • Experience with canvas-based interfaces or creative workflow tools (preferred).
  • Prior work on design systems, including creating, maintaining, or contributing to one (preferred).
