Description

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Nordic payroll, with a focus on Denmark.
  • Attend sales calls as the Country Payroll Lead.
  • Participate in sales handover, client handover, and client kickoff calls.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of global payroll implementation projects.
  • Guide implementations from inception through parallel runs and the first month of live payroll before handoff to Payroll Operations.
  • Maintain records of key decisions, standard operating procedures, and implementation documentation for Payroll Operations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and standardized payroll processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders during implementation.
  • Provide ongoing support during and after implementation to resolve issues and challenges.
  • Support and mentor Payroll Generalists and collaborate with internal teams to improve the platform, including UAT testing and shipping changes.

Requirements

  • Extensive payroll experience in a client payroll environment.
  • Expert legislative knowledge of the Nordics, with specialism in Denmark.
  • Payroll implementation experience.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining payroll processes and issues to customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong experience using Intega payroll software in Denmark.
  • Deep knowledge of local payroll tools such as SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international, asynchronous work environment.
  • Experience in accounting and reconciliations.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Remote work experience is a plus.
  • Experience improving processes and increasing productivity is preferred.
