Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports to build a high-performing Time & Attendance team.
  • Foster a positive, innovative team culture across a remote, asynchronous, international environment.
  • Oversee performance management, including bi-annual evaluations and alignment of individual goals with business objectives.
  • Drive recruitment, training, mentoring, and supervision of the regional team.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for high-risk Time & Attendance matters, including wage-and-hour disputes, policy interpretation, and disciplinary issues.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Employee Relations to improve Time & Attendance workflows, processes, and SOPs.
  • Improve and optimize team processes, tools, and workflows, including identifying automation opportunities to increase quality, efficiency, and scale.
  • Ensure efficient, compliant delivery of Time & Attendance services while meeting KPIs and SLAs.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information, including sensitive records and investigations.
  • Resolve escalated Time & Attendance issues through detailed analysis and internal investigations, and implement compliance improvements.
  • Champion responsible adoption of AI-assisted tools by running pilots, setting guardrails, and scaling effective use cases.

Requirements

  • Hands-on people management experience with a strong coaching mindset, including leading distributed international teams.
  • Proven HR operations experience across multiple countries.
  • Deep expertise in Time & Attendance matters, wage and hour laws, policy exceptions, and disciplinary processes.
  • Deep knowledge of Time & Attendance case resolution and wage/hour compliance in APAC jurisdictions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international scale-up environment.
  • Experience working in a service-level environment with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using digital tools for process optimization and automation.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Ability to manage employee data and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Startup experience, remote working experience, and additional languages besides English are a plus.
  • Prior employment verification check required.
