Description

  • Own end-to-end operations and functions for Remote’s UK payments entity.
  • Serve as the entity head and primary decision-maker for meeting growth and regulatory expectations.
  • Represent Remote externally with regulators, government officials, and industry bodies.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly management board meetings.
  • Prepare and run Payment Entity Board meetings, including agendas, materials, and minutes.
  • Partner with Compliance and MLRO to maintain strong regulator relationships and ongoing compliance.
  • Lead operational audits and regulatory exams, including planning and preparation.
  • Develop internal policies and controls to meet audit and governance requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Tax, Product, Finance, Payments, and senior management on regulatory impacts to product design and business operations.
  • Maintain strong governance and implement an adequate internal control system.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of payments experience in Strategy, Legal, Operations, or Entity Management, preferably in payments infrastructure or mass payout solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience with a Payments Institution or electronic Money Institution regulated by the FCA.
  • Understanding of UK financial legislation.
  • Strong understanding of payments products and solutions at a feature level or across the payments ecosystem.
  • Experience managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Commercial outlook with the ability to assess business-wide impacts.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills with a track record of leading complex projects across large, distributed organizations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to tell a story.
  • Must be a UK resident.
  • Fluent English required.
  • Experience working remotely is a plus.
  • Must be willing to be registered as a PSD individual with the FCA as Head of the Entity.
