Description

  • Review and decide on KYB cases for the regulated payments entity, including enhanced investigations and internal recommendations.
  • Serve as the first-line escalation point for KYB analysts and escalate high-risk cases to the Compliance Officer and MLRO.
  • Lead transaction monitoring and investigations to detect, prevent, and report potential money laundering, terrorism financing, corruption, and other suspicious activity.
  • Drive continuous improvement of tooling, SOPs, and compliance policies.
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement to raise the profile of Compliance across the organization.
  • Prepare data-driven internal management reports.
  • Lead projects and tasks that improve compliance processes and support broader team transformation.
  • Work with vendors and compliance tools to support sanctions, fraud, and KYB operations.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in operational risk, compliance, KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, or related work in financial services or fintech.
  • Proven ability to lead KYB casework, sanctions-related work, and fraud continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with relevant compliance tools and experience working with vendors.
  • Ability to lead projects independently and take initiative proactively.
  • Relevant AML certification preferred, such as ACAMS.
  • Strong automation and AI capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated payment institution environment.
