Description

  • Track and report procurement savings across categories and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain spend dashboards and recurring reports for categories including IT/SaaS, corporate services, contingent workforce, and facilities.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly spend summaries with variance analysis, commentary, and forward pipeline estimates.
  • Maintain audit-ready evidence trails for spend incurred and support internal audit and SOC 2 reviews on procurement controls.
  • Design and operationalize vendor performance scorecards covering SLA, quality, risk, responsiveness, and strategic value.
  • Prepare data packages for quarterly business reviews with Tier 1 vendors and track action items and commitments.
  • Monitor vendor health signals such as concentration risk, financial stability, and geographic exposure, and flag issues proactively.
  • Own spend taxonomy and category hierarchy, classify spend consistently, and analyze maverick spend and category benchmarks.
  • Analyze demand signals such as PO patterns, requisition volumes, and approval cycle times to identify process inefficiencies.
  • Own the procurement leadership review deck, including narrative, data accuracy, and visual quality.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, HR, and business stakeholders on procurement reporting, accruals, month-end close, and budget planning.
  • Own procurement analytics dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker and automate recurring reporting through scripting and scheduled refreshes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement analytics, spend analysis, supply chain reporting, or a closely adjacent Finance/BI role.
  • Demonstrated experience building savings trackers, vendor scorecards, and spend analytics from scratch.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot models, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and dynamic arrays.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize queries against ERP and P2P data.
  • Experience with Tableau; experience with Power BI or Looker is also relevant.
  • Prior exposure to a SaaS or high-growth technology company is strongly preferred.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership at the CFO, COO, or VP level and defending methodology under pressure.
  • Track record of working across Finance, Legal, IT, and business functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Engineering is a plus.
  • Experience working in a global organization across multiple countries and time zones, with strong stakeholder management, communication, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
