Description

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
  • Build and manage front-end and back-end functionality within WordPress environments.
  • Optimize website performance to improve load times, SEO, security, and overall user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to WordPress, plugins, hosting, and integrations.
  • Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility across websites.
  • Conduct website audits and apply improvements to SEO, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and developers to translate designs into functional websites.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, external services, and marketing tools such as forms, landing pages, and email templates.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, clients, and junior developers.
  • Maintain security, backups, regular updates, and adherence to coding standards and development workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in WordPress development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
  • Proven experience in both front-end and back-end development.
  • Deep understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugin architecture.
  • Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
  • Proficiency with Divi Builder is required; familiarity with Elementor and WPBakery is preferred.
  • Experience with server management and cloud hosting environments.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Strong understanding of website performance optimization, security best practices, and SEO implementation within WordPress.
  • Experience implementing marketing forms such as Salesforce Pardot or HubSpot.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana and time tracking tools like Clockify.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Preferred experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce website development.
  • Preferred experience with Google Analytics, including debugging and tracking implementation.
  • Preferred familiarity with Shopify, BigCommerce, or similar platforms.
  • Preferred experience with Headless WordPress and React.
  • Basic understanding of wireframing and design tools.
  • Candidates must reside in LATAM countries and submit resumes in English.
