Description

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for the assigned area from problem definition through delivery and iteration.
  • Lead discovery with Finance, Payroll, and Operations to remove manual bottlenecks and prevent invoice errors.
  • Partner with engineering and design to define problems and shape solutions as a cross-functional triad.
  • Improve how payroll cost changes, pricing adjustments, and invoice discrepancies are surfaced and resolved.
  • Own the payroll-to-invoice validation layer and ensure invoices are accurate, clear, and understandable.
  • Design a path for correcting invoices without needing to cancel and reissue them.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for pricing across the platform while preserving flexibility for sales-cycle changes.
  • Ensure pricing and billing configuration changes do not break downstream invoice data.
  • Define success metrics before scoping work and revisit them when outcomes are not improving.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product experience, with ownership of complex B2B SaaS or fintech products.
  • Experience with billing, invoicing, pricing, or financial operations products.
  • Strong product fundamentals and the ability to manage the product, not just the backlog.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Experience with platform-level products involving data models, integrations, and cross-service dependencies.
  • Ability to reason about trade-offs across product, operations, and engineering.
  • Strong commercial instinct and understanding of how pricing architecture, invoice accuracy, and collection timing affect the P&L.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, cross-functional environments and driving clarity proactively.
  • Experience working in a high-trust, autonomous team structure with customer access and clear business goals.
  • Ability to leverage AI as a force multiplier without outsourcing judgment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP integrations such as NetSuite or Xero is advantageous.
