Description

  • Develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript on the front end and Java or Python on the back end.
  • Build scalable REST and GraphQL APIs supporting front-end and back-end functionality.
  • Participate in the full implementation lifecycle from design through rollout.
  • Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot while reviewing and validating generated code.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA engineers to plan and deliver features.
  • Contribute to engineering chapters, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
  • Take increasing ownership of assigned work and participate in a distributed, cross-functional squad.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of web application development experience across front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Professional experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot or Python and a Python web framework.
  • Experience building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of CSS and UI development practices.
  • Effective written communication and reliable asynchronous collaboration in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants and disciplined workflows for using them.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development and strong testing instincts.
  • Experience with SaaS or custom-built products, preferably B2B SaaS, FinTech, or HRTech.
  • Understanding of security principles, performance optimization, and self-directed ownership.
