Description

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Time & Attendance matters and support complex projects involving employment law changes and collective bargaining agreement updates.
  • Manage employee lifecycle cases related to leave, time tracking, public holidays, and working time for internal and external employees.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation, labor law, and legal interpretations in employment agreements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies, to ensure compliance in employee lifecycle activities.
  • Support HR and financial audits and help manage initiatives affecting employees across multiple countries.
  • Develop and maintain global internal documentation related to Time & Attendance and legislative changes.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries on employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle stakeholders.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, and product or operational enhancements.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Promote Remote’s values and contribute to the success of the Lifecycle team’s goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations professionally and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Advanced business-level written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong interest in process optimization, automation, and best practices.
  • Efficiency in operations with strong attention to documentation and data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment.
  • Comfort using tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G Suite.
  • Enthusiasm for AI and a foundational understanding of its practical applications in operations and automation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Prior experience with employee leave, working hours, or time and attendance management is implied by the role.
  • Prior employment verification is required as part of the hiring process.
