Description

  • Work with manufacturing, engineering, construction, facility, and operations teams to process, document, and track invoices.
  • Update project budgets and maintain forecasts for manufacturing and operations activities.
  • Develop and manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and support Relativity’s manufacturing strategy.
  • Review labor and materials actuals and analyze actuals versus plan, schedule status, and cost/schedule integration.
  • Support corrective action plans, performance recovery plans, and baseline planning.
  • Partner with Engineering, Project Managers, and leadership to translate business needs into financial implications and resource allocation decisions.
  • Assess the financial and operating impact of key decisions and support strategic trade-off analysis.
  • Analyze complex production issues and help engineering develop solutions that support schedule, cost, and quality goals.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as business case development, capital investment analysis, make-vs-buy evaluations, and ad hoc financial modeling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis.
  • Preferred experience in aerospace, technology, manufacturing, construction, or other capital-intensive industries.
  • Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, including the ability to build complex models and perform variance analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize large, complex data sets and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including translating technical and production requirements into financial decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with financial planning tools such as Planful or Hyperion, or similar tools, is required or strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Nice-to-have experience with manufacturing systems in the aerospace industry.
  • Nice-to-have familiarity with aerospace planning, procedures, operations, and safety.
