Description

  • Process, document, and track invoices across manufacturing, engineering, construction, facility, and operations teams.
  • Update project budgets and maintain forecasts for manufacturing and related programs.
  • Review labor and materials actuals and analyze actuals versus plan, including schedule status and cost/schedule integration.
  • Support corrective action plans, performance recovery plans, and baseline planning for project performance.
  • Partner with engineering, program management, infrastructure, operations, and leadership on manufacturing strategy and financial decisions.
  • Translate business requirements into financial implications and help guide resource allocation decisions.
  • Assess the financial and operating impact of trade decisions to support the best business outcome.
  • Analyze complex production issues and support engineering with practical solutions that protect schedule, cost, and quality goals.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as business case development, capital investment analysis, make-vs.-buy evaluations, and ad hoc financial modeling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis.
  • Experience in aerospace, technology, manufacturing, construction, or another capital-intensive industry, preferred.
  • Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, including building complex models and performing variance analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize large, complex data sets and turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex and ambiguous engineering and production requirements into financial decisions.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with financial planning tools such as Planful or Hyperion, with SQL or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI considered a plus.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems in the aerospace industry, preferred.
  • Familiarity with aerospace planning, procedures, operations, and safety, preferred.
