Description

  • Own Brazil’s revenue number from prospecting and demos through closing, onboarding, underwriting, and the merchant’s first sale.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of Brazilian direct-response merchants.
  • Create and host dinners, meetups, workshops, and other events that generate qualified pipeline.
  • Identify, activate, and manage referral partners across agencies, media buyers, fulfillment, logistics, payments, communities, and creators.
  • Develop and maintain a written market map covering operators, competitors, platforms, partners, and payment rails.
  • Represent Brazilian merchant needs to product, payments, and client success teams using market data.
  • Set realistic payment and underwriting expectations for merchants based on local market conditions.
  • Document sales, event, partnership, and market insights into a repeatable Brazil playbook.
  • Track and report market performance weekly, evaluating and discontinuing ineffective initiatives.
  • Build a team in Brazil and potentially expand responsibility across Latin America after proving traction.

Requirements

  • Based in Brazil and fluent in Portuguese and English.
  • Established within Brazil’s direct-response community, with knowledge of operators, agencies, events, and industry networks.
  • Demonstrated experience opening a market, region, channel, or company from zero, with measurable results.
  • Strong discovery, product demonstration, closing, event-hosting, and pipeline-generation skills.
  • Fluent in direct-response ecommerce concepts including offers, funnels, upsells, subscriptions, approval rates, chargebacks, LTV, CAC, and margin.
  • Able to operate autonomously, solve problems, and take end-to-end ownership in a high-intensity startup environment.
  • Curious about AI and willing to learn and use AI tools in daily work.
  • Experience working in resource-constrained startups or building a business independently.
  • Preferred: experience running, marketing, or buying media for a Brazilian direct-response store.
  • Preferred: experience selling payments, checkout, fulfillment, ad networks, or agency services to Brazilian DTC operators.
  • Preferred: experience launching a new market for a growing company.
