Description

  • Decompose complex business problems into technical specifications that enable AI agents to implement code accurately.
  • Develop and own domain services in TypeScript and Node.js for case lifecycle, pricing, and payment-schedule logic.
  • Extract and reimplement business logic from legacy Java and PL/SQL packages in a modern, test-driven environment.
  • Build financial-grade audit trails, segregation-of-duties controls, and reproducible calculations for federal audits.
  • Deliver vertical slices across the stack, including React UI components and AWS CDK infrastructure-as-code.
  • Perform peer reviews and help maintain a continuously green main branch through automated testing and CI.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support an always-on beta environment and rapid iteration.
  • Modernize and replace a decades-old platform managing billions of dollars in international security cooperation.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a U.S. SECRET clearance.
  • 7+ years of experience building and operating production web systems.
  • Hands-on experience using agentic AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent on professional codebases.
  • Professional proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Demonstrated experience across cloud infrastructure, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and security fundamentals.
  • Experience with modern ORMs such as Prisma and with building and maintaining REST APIs.
  • Ability to read and interpret legacy PL/SQL and Java code for logic extraction (desired).
  • Experience building financial calculation engines or audit-sensitive systems (desired).
  • Familiarity with Temporal workflows or complex state machine management (desired).
  • Prior experience in regulated or government environments such as FedRAMP, RMF, or IL-4/5 (desired).
  • Experience with Oracle-to-Postgres migrations (desired).
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud and container orchestration using EKS or ECS (desired).
