Description

  • Lead CBM+ AI/ML initiatives from concept through production deployment in alignment with mission, business, and enterprise architecture objectives.
  • Architect and sustain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, ETL/ELT, feature engineering, validation, and production workflows.
  • Design, develop, and optimize machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI models for predictive maintenance challenges.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and visualization to identify operational trends, risks, and actionable insights.
  • Build and extend knowledge graphs for semantic reasoning, data integration, and AI-enabled decision support.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship on model development, MLOps, testing, documentation, and secure deployment practices.
  • Collaborate with software, data, cloud, and product teams to integrate models into applications, APIs, and operational workflows.
  • Establish and lead monitoring and mitigation for data quality, model performance, drift, bias, and degradation.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance is required; applicants must currently hold an active clearance.
  • Master’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of applied NLP experience, including data labeling and entity or keyword extraction.
  • Proficiency with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, data governance frameworks, and technical documentation standards.
  • Deep practical knowledge of statistical distributions for data assessment, analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience developing dashboards or data products using Streamlit, Qlik Sense, or similar tools.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical findings to executive and non-technical stakeholders and work independently.
  • Ability to travel minimally for government customer and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ph.D. in a STEM field, AI/ML experience in predictive maintenance or defense logistics, sensor-based failure prediction, Monte Carlo simulations, end-to-end pipeline/UI integration, or DoD aviation data environment experience (preferred).
