Description

  • Advance AI research for biomedical discovery, drug design, and translation.
  • Develop end-to-end applications connecting virtual patients, virtual cells, and real-world data.
  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and drug hunters on cross-functional AI projects.
  • Work with large-scale biomedical datasets and Recursion’s AI-native drug discovery platform.
  • Translate research findings into real-world drug discovery and precision health impact.
  • Contribute to a rapid, iterative research environment spanning computational and experimental workflows.

Requirements

  • PhD in machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of frontier AI research experience.
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience delivering cross-functional AI projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for real-world applications and measurable impact.
  • Experience in biomedicine or drug discovery preferred.
  • Willingness to learn biomedical concepts and applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, highly collaborative environment.

Benefits

  • Fully remote position available anywhere in the United States.
  • Annual base salary of $239,400–$322,500, depending on location.
  • Annual bonus eligibility.
