Description

  • Integrate and maintain vendor stock levels in ERP and web management systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy and availability to support forecasting and e-commerce operations.
  • Create and maintain a vendor ranking system to identify preferred suppliers.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs for suppliers and the purchasing process.
  • Analyze vendor spend to identify strategic buying opportunities, cost savings, consolidation, and renegotiation opportunities.
  • Create and execute RFPs using data-driven insights.
  • Provide ad hoc and strategic data support to purchasing and inventory teams.
  • Build and maintain forecasts and budgets for inventory and purchasing.
  • Consolidate commodity part numbers and reconcile part numbers for updated equipment components.
  • Audit and update inventory status, reorder rules, and stocking standards within ERP and web management systems.
  • Analyze the relationship between inventory, sales velocity, and marketing visibility.
  • Identify root causes behind slow-moving items and over-selling products by reviewing traffic, price competitiveness, and marketing traction.
  • Report on slow-moving inventory and related marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst, Purchasing Analyst, Inventory Analyst, or similar analytical role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, large dataset analysis, and report creation.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable business insights.
  • Experience using ERP systems to extract, analyze, and report on purchasing, inventory, or supply chain data.
  • Experience in at least one supply chain function such as forecasting and demand planning, inventory management, inventory allocation strategies, or replenishment planning.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to validate data accuracy, identify trends and anomalies, and proactively provide recommendations.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Acumatica ERP is preferred.
  • Vendor management experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in the eCommerce industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory optimization, purchasing KPIs, or supply chain performance metrics is preferred.
