Description

  • Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans for assigned business units.
  • Collaborate with consolidation and BU leaders to ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor financial performance, and analyze variances to recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely business unit financial reports aligned with accounting results.
  • Support investor and stakeholder reporting with BU-level data and analysis.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks within the assigned business units, including Brazil-specific regulatory risks.
  • Advise BU leaders on financial decisions that align with business objectives.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, Technology, Data, and Finance teams to support financial integration and reporting.
  • Use multiple data sources and automation/AI tools to improve analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Lead process improvements while maintaining quality and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • CPA, CFA, or a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in FP&A, business finance, or financial planning in the Brazilian financial market.
  • Experience in digital banking, payment companies, or fintechs is ideal.
  • Experience with credit products such as personal loans, credit cards, or credit lines is a strong differentiator.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills across different business units and products.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Advanced ability to work with data sources in different tools.
  • Demonstrated professional use of AI tools such as LLMs, copilots, or automation.
  • Good knowledge of Brazilian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements; USGAAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluency in Portuguese is required.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Strong Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work hands-on, adapt quickly, and operate in a dynamic environment.
