Description

Develop presentations, manuscripts, video scripts, executive summaries, handouts, moderator guides, and digital materials.
Conduct literature searches and analyze clinical data to create accurate, current, evidence-based content.
Collaborate with Medical Directors, Creative, Client Services, designers, clients, and key opinion leaders on medical storytelling and strategy.
Partner with designers on illustrations, animations, and other applications of scientific information.
Perform quality checks and support Veeva submissions for medical, legal, and regulatory review.
Support cross-functional project management, meetings, timelines, and client communications.
Train and mentor junior medical writers.
Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, corporate, and applicable US requirements.
Work occasional nonstandard hours and travel overnight or on weekends up to 20% as project needs require.

Requirements

Advanced healthcare-related degree such as MD, PhD, PharmD, MPH, or MS.
2–3 years of medical education experience in a pharmaceutical company or medical communications agency required; 3–5 years in medical education, scientific research, or clinical practice preferred.
Experience developing promotional or medical communications for healthcare professionals preferred.
Experience with medical, legal, and regulatory reviews preferred.
Expert verbal and written communication skills in medical science.
Intermediate ability to evaluate the relevance, validity, and credibility of published medical literature.
Intermediate understanding of digital marketing practices and artificial intelligence applications.
Strong collaboration, presentation, problem-solving, quality management, time-management, and client-service skills.
Ability to work Eastern US hours in a hybrid US office or remote arrangement.
