Description

  • Draft and revise slide decks, manuscripts, training materials, and other scientific deliverables.
  • Interpret clinical and preclinical data and translate findings into clear written content and visual representations.
  • Conduct literature searches and organize references using appropriate tools.
  • Participate in internal and client meetings, capture notes and action items, and communicate professionally with stakeholders.
  • Incorporate feedback from internal and external reviewers accurately and efficiently.
  • Track project tasks, timelines, file handoffs, hours, and budgets using tools such as Workfront, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Collaborate with teams to prepare materials for regulatory and editorial review.
  • Follow SOPs, team standards, AMA style, and client-specific guidelines.
  • Maintain an 85% billable utilization goal and prepare work for delegation during planned time off.

Requirements

  • Doctoral-level degree in life sciences, such as PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in medical writing and scientific communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn AMA style and reference tools such as EndNote.
  • Prior medical writing experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, accountability, reliability, and receptiveness to feedback.
