Description

  • Develop scientific copy for assigned brands, products, and deliverables.
  • Review therapeutic-area literature, competitor products, and supporting references.
  • Translate medical strategy and content objectives into accurate project materials.
  • Manage project workflows, deadlines, meetings, and review processes.
  • Communicate with clients and key opinion leaders to present work and gather feedback.
  • Incorporate edits from clients, KOLs, and internal reviewers.
  • Collaborate with medical, creative, and illustration teams to present scientific data clearly and accurately.
  • Maintain current scientific knowledge and provide medical guidance to project teams.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree such as MD, PhD, or PharmD required.
  • Up to 1 year of medical writing experience in a medical communications agency preferred.
  • Familiarity with FDA, AMA, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Strong scientific foundation and ability to learn therapeutic areas and therapies quickly.
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and managing priorities.
  • Strong teamwork, initiative, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and reference management software.
  • Self-directed, adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working independently.
