Description

  • Proactively develop a pipeline of funding opportunities and build relationships that lead to new partnerships or donations.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing partners and implement engagement strategies to strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Match funders’ objectives with the Foundation’s programmes and goals.
  • Prepare funding applications, proposals, presentations, and pitches in collaboration with colleagues across the Foundation.
  • Evaluate and report on partner activities to track goal achievement and communicate impact.
  • Develop and implement tailored stewardship plans for donors and partners.
  • Accurately maintain partner and pipeline information in Salesforce CRM.
  • Support colleagues in developing new donor relationships to secure grants and donations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Foundation’s programmes and related funding opportunities.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Experience securing and developing long-term corporate partnerships and/or high-value income of £50K+.
  • Competence using a CRM or equivalent system, including Salesforce experience preferred by context.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across organisations to deliver results.
  • Experience with advocacy, networking, negotiation, and adapting communication to different audiences.
  • Practical experience preparing and presenting compelling cases for support in person and in writing.
  • Experience monitoring, reporting, and forecasting against plans and budgets.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the Raspberry Pi Foundation.
  • Experience prioritising a pipeline of multiple opportunities, ideally.
  • High level of IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office or Google apps (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Forms), ideally.
  • Experience fundraising in markets outside the UK, ideally.
  • Experience with trusts and foundations or event sponsorship, ideally.

Benefits

  • Salary of £44,000-£48,000 p.a. full-time equivalent, dependent on experience.
  • Fixed-term 12-month contract with full-time, part-time, or flexible working options.
  • Remote UK working available, with regular travel to Cambridge.
