Description

  • Plan, deliver, and track activities that increase the number of sustained, impactful Code Clubs in Ireland.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing partners and stakeholders to raise awareness of Code Club and support its growth.
  • Organise and deliver national and regional events, training, and community activities online and in person.
  • Work with colleagues across the Foundation to share expertise and coordinate activities.
  • Use data to inform decisions, evaluate progress, and report on improvements over time.
  • Develop work plans aligned to the Foundation’s objectives and key results, and report on progress.
  • Contribute content for newsletters, blogs, social media, and online course moderation.
  • Consult with club leaders to inform programme development and improve processes.
  • Create activities that encourage Irish clubs to participate in Raspberry Pi initiatives such as Coolest Projects.
  • Represent Code Club and the Raspberry Pi Foundation at relevant events.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering education programmes in schools, ideally on a national scale in Ireland.
  • Understanding of the educational landscape in Ireland and how schools operate.
  • Experience coordinating voluntary, community, or youth-focused programmes, ideally nationally in Ireland.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain partnerships and manage stakeholders, ideally at a national level.
  • Experience designing and delivering training and events for educators and volunteers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to produce clear, engaging content for reports, presentations, resources, blogs, marketing materials, and social media.
  • Experience with project management across internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with effective process management.
  • Good data and analytical skills, ideally with proficiency in Salesforce, Pardot, and Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of Garda Vetting and safeguarding procedures for young people in Ireland.
  • Ability to work effectively from home as part of a remote team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Ireland and to Cambridge, UK, including overnight stays when required.
  • A full clean driving licence.
  • Experience with Code Club or CoderDojo is an advantage.
  • Experience with coding and digital making is an advantage.
  • Passion for empowering young people to become creators with technology, and willingness to learn.

Benefits

  • Salary of €33,600 - €39,900 per year full-time equivalent, dependent on experience.
  • 23 days of paid annual leave initially, rising to 28 days after five years, plus 3 additional company-wide closure days at year-end.
