Description

  • Manage and execute technical field deployments, including configuration, installation, and testing of VoIP-integrated RapidSOS solutions at emergency communications centers.
  • Own the end-to-end implementation timeline from onboarding to go-live and ensure technical and logistical milestones are completed on site, on time, and to a high standard.
  • Travel frequently across the U.S. to public safety customer locations for onsite installs and technical troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with local IT teams, system administrators, and telephony providers to integrate RapidSOS products into diverse communications environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Account Management, and Customer Success to escalate issues and improve field execution.
  • Act as the technical liaison and subject matter expert on VoIP infrastructure requirements and deployment best practices.
  • Identify scope and technical risks and help overcome limitations internally and externally.
  • Gather feedback from field installs and customer interactions to improve implementation playbooks, processes, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in field implementation, VoIP systems engineering, or technical project management with onsite deployment responsibility.
  • Deep working knowledge of VoIP infrastructure, including SIP, PBX, and SBCs, plus telephony and ideally public safety technology ecosystems.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software and hardware solutions in live production environments.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to represent the company professionally in highly visible customer settings.
  • Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-first mindset with adaptability and flexibility in a high-growth environment.
  • Team-oriented approach with low ego and strong mission alignment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 75% of the time.
  • Experience working at an ECC or knowledge of public safety systems such as CAD, CHE, logging, NG911, 911 operations, and call flow (preferred).
  • Knowledge of APIs (preferred).
  • ENP certification (preferred).
