Description

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for public safety and enterprise software products.
  • Develop positioning and messaging that clearly communicate product value and differentiation.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and translate differentiation insights into usable sales guidance.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate product functionality into field-ready language.
  • Build AI-assisted content workflows that keep messaging and product translation current as offerings evolve.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to align messaging and field enablement efforts.
  • Act as the voice of the customer and advocate for public safety needs in product and marketing discussions.
  • Influence product roadmap and marketing priorities using evidence-backed customer and prospect insights.
  • Create training materials, sales enablement collateral, and messaging frameworks for field teams.
  • Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative feedback from the field, customers, and public safety stakeholders to refine strategy and messaging.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing or product roles.
  • At least 4 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS or B2G environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build reusable marketing infrastructure such as content libraries, launch checklists, messaging systems, or RFP templates.
  • Ability to produce field-ready work under pressure and operate effectively in ambiguity.
  • Hands-on fluency with AI tools for drafting, prompt libraries, and content systematization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to keep stakeholders informed and escalate when needed.
  • Experience translating between sales and product/engineering audiences in cross-functional environments.
  • Ability to use customer data, field feedback, and sales signals to inform decisions and course-correct.
  • Comfort working closely with Product and Engineering while also writing for skeptical, time-pressed buyers.
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, less than 10%.
  • Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot is preferred.
  • Experience producing product-focused content for trade shows or industry conferences is preferred.
  • Experience tailoring messaging for multiple audience types, including front-line staff, executives, and technical teams, is preferred.
