Description

  • Scout for vendor partners in North America and Europe who can manufacture men’s sweaters with fast production lead times.
  • Identify, pitch, and onboard new vendor partners using clear test-period criteria and scaling plans.
  • Drive partner operations for existing supplier relationships while expanding a redundant supplier base.
  • Improve product costs, quality, commercial terms, and profitability across sourcing relationships.
  • Manage supplier and style-level capacity to support company growth.
  • Source materials and negotiate across the supply chain, including T1 to T2 and T3 mill and vendor partners as needed.
  • Build open-costing models and negotiate from validated cost structures rather than relying solely on vendor data.
  • Act as the primary ambassador to partners and deepen supplier relationships through ongoing collaboration.
  • Improve product launch performance by addressing bottlenecks, increasing hit rates, and reducing development times.
  • Lead cross-functional and international stakeholders while creating new processes and SOPs for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sourcing and merchandising experience in men’s apparel, specifically men’s sweaters.
  • Experience working with high-end national brands in the United States and Europe.
  • Deep knowledge of category manufacturing and the ability to cultivate strong vendor relationships.
  • Strong strategic, commercial understanding of the sourcing landscape and trade benefits for the USA, Canada, and Europe.
  • Experience in supply chain management or operations.
  • Solid open-costing breakdown experience from a brand or manufacturer perspective.
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and drive process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter who learns quickly and adapts to new challenges.
  • Detail-oriented, curious, resilient under pressure, and willing to challenge the status quo.
