Description

  • Own the integrity and overall health of the Salesforce operations and environment.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to multiple departments using Salesforce and integrated technologies.
  • Act as the final technical decision maker for platforms that integrate with Salesforce.
  • Manage end-to-end implementation within the Salesforce platform.
  • Design secure integration architecture for external systems and partner integrations such as Sage Intacct, Conga, DemandFarm, Marketo, and other API- or webhook-based tools.
  • Evaluate and implement new architecture options to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Review prospective product purchases for security and architecture impact and provide pre-purchase support.
  • Develop and maintain security protocols, including access and authentication configurations.
  • Drive CI/CD implementation using sandboxes and Salesforce packages.
  • Create and maintain roles, permissions, page layouts, process flows, reports, and dashboards.
  • Lead evaluation and resolution of technical debt related to Salesforce and its integrated technologies.
  • Handle communications and contract negotiations with Salesforce, including product requests and platform issues.
  • Mentor and train users or team members on Salesforce best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, management, and staff in a professional and responsive manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of developer experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 4-7+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce Developer and Technical Architect.
  • Salesforce Platform certifications, including Platform App Builder and Integration Architecture.
  • Experience with multiple Salesforce Cloud solutions across sales, marketing, operations, support, and accounting use cases.
  • Working knowledge of security protocols including SSO, SAML, OAuth, and Salesforce data security.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce development languages and tools including Apex, SOQL, SOSL, XML, JavaScript, and Java.
  • Working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce sandboxes and development, staging, and deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AI, including Agentforce 360, and other AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to solve complex issues and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Preferred work location must be in one of the listed U.S. states.
