Description

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain new and existing backend applications to meet team goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Produce and ship high-quality, well-documented code.
  • Co-own the services architecture with responsibility for resilience, scalability, and robustness using Domain-Driven Design principles.
  • Contribute to technical leadership and mentor other engineers.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to shape finance solutions and deliver high-quality products.
  • Help manage product direction and evolving needs of a growing user base.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and product managers to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Take ownership of a product scope within a small backend engineering team.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience with Golang.
  • Exposure to architectural patterns of large-scale, high-scale web applications.
  • Pragmatic, product-driven mindset focused on solving problems and delivering customer value.
  • Strong attention to code quality, testing, and code reviews.
  • Good communication skills and comfort working with non-technical colleagues.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with backend languages such as Ruby is relevant to the stack (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, or ELK is relevant to the platform (preferred).
