Description

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain new and existing backend applications.
  • Produce and ship high-quality, well-documented code.
  • Co-own service architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness using Domain-Driven Design principles.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to shape finance solutions and product direction.
  • Manage backend support for an ever-growing user base and deliver products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and product managers to deliver product scope.
  • Take part in technical leadership and mentorship of other engineers.
  • Contribute to upfront technical designs, team reviews, and smart feature slicing.
  • Own a product scope within a small backend-focused cross-functional team.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience with Golang.
  • Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
  • Pragmatic, product-driven mindset focused on delivering customer value.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Experience following best practices for code quality, testing, and code reviews.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to work from or relocate to Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain.
  • Experience with backend languages and tools such as Ruby, Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, or ELK (preferred)
