Description

  • Build and maintain full stack features using CakePHP, PostgreSQL, and SvelteKit.
  • Design scalable, multi-tenant systems and APIs.
  • Develop intuitive and performant user interface components using modern frontend frameworks.
  • Integrate the platform with third-party systems such as Salesforce, Mailchimp, Planning Center, and Twilio.
  • Optimize performance across backend queries and frontend rendering.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-impact features.
  • Contribute to code reviews and help uphold engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in full stack development.
  • Proficiency in PHP, with CakePHP preferred, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and data modeling.
  • Experience working with APIs and external integrations.
  • Familiarity with AWS environments, including EC2, RDS, and S3.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications is preferred.
  • Familiarity with authentication systems such as OAuth, Cognito, or SSO is preferred.
  • Experience with data pipelines or event-driven systems is preferred.
  • Background in church or nonprofit technology is preferred.
