Description

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects from initial outreach through close.
  • Generate prospects through research, cold-calling, internet research, and professional networking.
  • Visit 30-40 churches per month in person within the assigned territory.
  • Meet and exceed sales revenue, booking goals, and overall sales objectives.
  • Educate prospects and clients through presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Clearly communicate Pushpay’s value proposition and return on investment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with church leaders in the assigned geographic territory.
  • Collaborate with SDRs, AEs, Sales Managers, Marketing, Partner Success, and Implementation teams.
  • Manage sales activities and pipeline records in Salesforce.
  • Work through all phases of the sales cycle, including lead development, financial deal structuring, negotiation, and closing.
  • Share sales best practices and market insights with the broader sales team.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and position Pushpay effectively to win deals.
  • Provide feedback on market opportunities based on customer and prospect interactions.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of successful sales experience.
  • Experience selling in the technology field, preferably SaaS solutions.
  • Working knowledge of or experience in the faith sector is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of church culture, leaders, organizations, and structures.
  • Knowledge of the growing church market.
  • Strong communication, organizational, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record in new business development.
  • Experience canvassing and cold-calling into multiple types of organizations with demonstrated success.
  • Ability to manage a complex sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and close.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing prospects through a CRM application.
  • Strong computer skills with Mac OSX, Google platforms, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible.
  • Ability to work remotely from one of the approved locations: Sacramento, Bay Area CA, Miami FL, Chicago IL, Baltimore MD, Detroit MI, Minneapolis MN, Cincinnati OH, or Houston TX.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
