Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making.
  • Translate Pure Storage and ecosystem technologies into measurable business outcomes.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to drive revenue growth and net new business.
  • Lead technical sales strategy and ownership of technical responsibilities.
  • Present product and architecture solutions to customers and support technical win efforts.
  • Capture customer requirements and translate them into solution designs.
  • Prepare responses to RFI, RFP, and RFQ requests.
  • Coordinate evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
  • Promote interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation.
  • Work with product and technical marketing to create supporting materials such as whitepapers and web presentations.

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications.
  • Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of multi-tier client/server and web-based solution architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus.
  • Knowledge of VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
  • BS in CS, EE, or another technical degree, or equivalent experience.
