Description

  • Lead and coach a high-performing team of pre-sales Systems Engineers in the Commercial organization.
  • Drive people development and act as an employee advocate with strong emotional intelligence.
  • Support operational excellence by guiding the team in creating and validating technical demand.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business needs and decision-making drivers.
  • Refine sales strategy and tactics while owning technical responsibilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and domain expertise across storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings in DAS, NAS, and SAN.
  • Help the team capture requirements and translate business needs into innovative solutions.
  • Support the team in authoring responses to RFIs and RFPs as needed.
  • Promote interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to strengthen internal thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience নেতৃত্বing high-performing Sales Engineers in Commercial or Enterprise accounts.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting the sales of storage, networking, or systems solutions to large accounts and data centers.
  • Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
  • Experience setting team strategy to acquire new prospects and convert them into clients.
  • Knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, on-premises environments, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers.
  • Knowledge of VMware, local area networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with storage, networking, or systems solutions in commercial/enterprise sales environments is required.
  • Remote work is indicated by the #LI-REMOTE designation.
