Description

  • Create field-facing Analytics & AI content such as technical walkthroughs, deep dives, demos, and qualification guides.
  • Lead field enablement efforts to help sales teams identify and progress Analytics & AI opportunities.
  • Represent the company in webinars, events, and partner presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Participate in customer-facing calls, demos, proofs of concept, executive briefings, and strategy sessions.
  • Stay current on product offerings and solution briefs, and turn that knowledge into enablement plans.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders, solutions architects, product management, marketing, alliances, engineering, and enablement teams.
  • Review territory plans with account teams and help identify high-potential opportunities and pipeline.
  • Provide post-sales troubleshooting and expert-level solution support.
  • Participate in and help document field testing to bridge gaps before formal solution testing is complete.
  • Contribute field feedback and deal insights to solution roadmap discussions and product teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pre-sales experience in IT across private and public sector accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Strong technical acumen in Analytics & AI and an interest in the underlying architecture of AI.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure including servers, networking, and storage.
  • Knowledge of the broader Analytics & AI ecosystem and data pipeline technologies such as Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, Vertica, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and container-native storage such as Portworx is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience executing proofs of concept and demonstrations.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to account teams and partners.
  • Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills, including experience with complex engineering designs.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the DACH region.
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and follow-through.
