Description

  • Grow assigned territory and manage deals from land to expand across Enterprise, Commercial, Corporate, and US SLED segments.
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive new business opportunities.
  • Work with partners and co-sellers to generate and progress pipeline.
  • Understand prospect and customer use cases to position solutions and close new business.
  • Manage customer and stakeholder relationships at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Evaluate new opportunities and present recommendations to management.
  • Conduct competitive and market intelligence sessions for customers.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, pre-sales, SDR, and engineering teams.
  • Deliver enablement sessions one-on-one and in group settings to spread awareness of Portworx and Everpure Cloud.
  • Use documentation, best practices, and knowledge-base resources to support customers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience selling enterprise software and subscription software.
  • Track record of building 3-4x pipeline and exceeding annual quota.
  • Basic technical understanding of enterprise software, containers, cloud native technologies, and storage.
  • Ability to present product value propositions, vision, strategy, and roadmap clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Proven prospecting and hunting ability, with experience opening doors to new customers.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory for revenue and efficiency.
  • Experience leading complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders and partners.
  • Consistent history of exceeding quota and generating referenceable business.
  • Must be located in DC, Maryland, Virginia, or Philadelphia.
