Description

  • Provide clinical support for products to meet clinical needs, regulatory standards, and safe-use expectations.
  • Deploy company devices into clinical environments, including setup, testing, analysis, and validation.
  • Deliver on-site and remote support during pre-clinical and clinical procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve technical issues and optimize device performance.
  • Train physicians, nurses, technicians, and other staff on product use, operation, and maintenance.
  • Develop and use educational materials such as manuals, guides, and presentations to support user education.
  • Integrate clinical insights, user needs, and market feedback into product development.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for clinical performance issues and drive timely resolutions.
  • Support regulatory affairs and prepare accurate clinical and engineering documentation for submissions.
  • Identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in clinical engineering and medical device development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in clinical engineering, medical device development, or a related field.
  • Experience with cardiac ablation procedures.
  • Experience with Class II or Class III devices is highly desirable and preferred.
  • Strong understanding of global regulatory processes, clinical testing requirements, and post-market surveillance.
  • Deep knowledge of medical device design, engineering principles, regulatory requirements such as FDA and ISO 13485, and quality standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to medical device development and validation challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage time, resources, and multiple priorities effectively.
  • High-level computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, including overnight domestic and/or international travel.
  • Ability to lift 10-15 pounds.
