Description

  • Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for web and mobile experiences.
  • Create clear manual test cases and perform end-user-focused testing to uncover defects and usability issues.
  • Build, maintain, and integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct regression testing to protect critical user flows and existing functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers throughout the sprint cycle to validate user stories and provide release sign-off.
  • Investigate, document, and communicate bugs with detailed reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
  • Partner with product, design, support, and engineering stakeholders to understand requirements and improve product quality.
  • Contribute testing insights to improve reliability, observability, and overall platform quality.
  • Develop test strategies and quality resources that scale with project complexity, business impact, and risk.

Requirements

  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (preferred), or Appium.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language used for automated testing, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, including test planning, test case design, exploratory testing, regression testing, and release sign-off.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML/CSS, REST APIs, and browser dev tools.
  • Ability to read and understand application code, ideally ASP.NET/C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React, to triage issues and collaborate with engineers.
  • Comfort writing SQL queries, with MSSQL preferred, to validate data and reproduce issues.
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC, .NET, C#, MSSQL, React, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS, Azure, and DevOps.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for generating test cases, drafting automation, and improving coverage.
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership, proactive communication, customer empathy, and a curiosity for improving testing practices.
