Description

  • Provide end-to-end technical ownership of a high-revenue web platform and mobile app.
  • Make architecture decisions and define long-term technical strategy across products and infrastructure.
  • Own the server-side rendering pipeline built with Node.js, Fastify 5, and React 19.
  • Manage and evolve the data layer across MySQL and BigQuery.
  • Oversee GCP infrastructure, including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, and global load balancing.
  • Integrate and maintain ad-tech systems such as Google Ad Manager, GTM, GTag, and GPT.js.
  • Optimize site and server performance at scale, with a focus on millisecond-level improvements.
  • Maintain and improve the machine learning pipeline used for ad-tech performance optimization.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to set technical direction, remove bottlenecks, and ship production-grade code.

Requirements

  • Strong, production-proven experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Production experience with React in a server-side rendering context.
  • Experience with MySQL, including database design, query optimization, and ORM usage.
  • Experience with BigQuery for querying and managing large-scale datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP, including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, and load balancing.
  • Full-time independent contractor availability.
  • Remote location within the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, or Netherlands.
  • Experience with ad-tech, including ad serving, yield optimization, or programmatic advertising (nice to have).
  • Experience with affiliate marketing tools such as Anura and Everflow (nice to have).
  • Experience with Cloudflare, Fastify 5, Flutter, Golang, Rust, or ML for ad-tech optimization (nice to have).
