Description

  • Own the end-to-end technical direction for a high-revenue web platform and mobile app.
  • Make architecture decisions and define long-term technical strategy across the product stack.
  • Lead server-side rendering development for the web application using Node.js, Fastify 5, and React 19.
  • Own the data layer across MySQL and BigQuery.
  • Manage and optimize GCP infrastructure including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, and global load balancing.
  • Oversee ad-tech integrations and performance-critical system behavior.
  • Optimize site speed and server performance, with a focus on millisecond-level improvements.
  • Maintain and improve the ML pipeline that powers ad-tech performance.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to remove technical bottlenecks and ship production-grade code.

Requirements

  • Strong, production-proven experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Production experience with React in a server-side rendering context.
  • Experience with MySQL, including database design, query optimization, and ORM usage.
  • Experience with BigQuery for querying and managing large-scale datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, and load balancing.
  • GCP certification is a significant bonus.
  • Experience with ad-tech, including ad serving, yield optimization, and programmatic advertising, is preferred.
  • Affiliate marketing experience, especially with Anura and Everflow, is preferred.
  • Experience with Cloudflare CDN configuration, caching strategies, and Workers is preferred.
  • Experience with Fastify, especially Fastify 5 patterns, is preferred.
  • Experience contributing to Flutter mobile apps is preferred.
  • Experience with Golang or Rust for high-performance services is preferred.
  • Experience applying machine learning to ad-tech optimization, not LLMs or agents, is preferred.
  • Experience in fintech is preferred.
